Amalgamated Electronics Sendirian Berhad
has its humble beginnings as a small retail electronics and electrical
store in Brunei Darussalam. Since the Company was established in 1973,
it increasingly drew its experience from dealing with the growing number
of customers and its expanding worthwhile activities. The opportunity
lent itself to the Company when it felt the need to participate and help
cope with the country's growing demand for the supply of more advanced
electronic, electrical and communications technology.
As the result, the name
became widely known to its customers nationwide, as a reliable agency
for electronic products and spare-parts. The customer-base has over the
many years, grown in number and in size, and products loyalty reflects
the credible evidence of growing customer confidence in and loyalty to
the Company. The local market players also began to take the Company as
one of their erstwhile rivals and peers.

The Management in
believes in providing a consistently reliable service delivery, state-of-the
art technology and quality products at reasonable prices. These all begin
on the shop-floor with competent, dedicated and quality workforce, capable
of taking on the complete range of customer services and support. The
Company's HRD policy is intended to bring out the optimum skills and expertise
level in every employee.
In addition, the Management recognizes the importance of installing management
support systems to ensure that management information is shared to the
best use in decision- making and operations. The Management has put in
place application systems such as for Order handling, Finance, Sales Monitoring,
Customers and Suppliers Database, Project Management and Inventory Control.
To date, the Company has explored and found comfort in a number of new
related areas of operations. We have undertaken activities in the supply
and maintenance of electronics, telecommunications and electrical equipment,
educational and training systems and other technologically related products.
It is our intention to explore the opportunities here further. We also
intend to harness our strong technical support tie-ups with a number of
foreign companies based in UK, USA, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and the
Philippines on project or contract basis.
